STATEMENT FROM MOAA PRESIDENT on the death of Osama bin Laden


Alexandria, Va. — Retired Navy VADM Norb Ryan Jr., President of the Military Officers Association of America (MOAA), released the following statement on the death of Osama Bin Laden: 

“The death of Osama bin Laden sends a clear message that the United States kept its word, that those who do us harm or wish to do us harm will be held accountable.  We are all grateful to the men and women in uniform, and in government service, who never wavered in their pursuit of justice, and whose service led us to this moment.”
